      What is Cardio Hip Hop?
     
    From the likes of Justin Timberlake, Usher, to Justin Bieber, hip hop is amazing! Hip Hop has been around since the early 90's. It is a high intensity dance that involves a great deal of attitude and energy. It utilizes sharp movements of the body with high and low steps. Hip Hop fuses pop, break dance, and even reggae depending on the song. A person performing a hip hop routine will leave a studio sweating and never wanting to stop. It you are into having fun while working out, hip hop is right for you. The music is fun and up-beat and the movement highly enjoyable.
     




      What is The Nathan Blake Experience?
     
    Blake experience will be a Dance Fitness class which will incorporate the Best Musical sounds and Dances from all around the world.... With Strong emphasis on Hip-Hop and American pop music. Sprinkle in some Sexy Salsa, Disco, Funk, Samba add In Classic such as Dirty Dancing , Grease. Add in different Techniques from Personal train, Kick box and Yoga and Pilates and your have a "Blake Experience" is Dance class can burn between 700 and 1000 calories and is meant to include all ages and fitness levels a like.       What is Boot Camp?
     
    Boot Camp is a 60 min high intensity workout. Boot camp workouts are efficient because you work your entire body-- heart and muscles--by going from one exercise to another with no rest. The workouts involve calisthenics like pushups, jumping jacks, crunches and other body weight exercises...the difference lies in the intensity. In boot camp, your challenge is to take your body to its limit. You work, you sweat and, best of all, you burn calories like crazy.
     




      What is Kettlebells?
     
    Kettlebell workouts are said to be TWICE the WORKOUT in HALF the TIME! Originated centuries ago in Russia as a training method for Olympic athletes and members of the military.       What is Pilates?
     
    Extreme core stability and strength workout. Core includes the back, hips, glutes and abdominal muscles. This class is designed for every body. Instructor is experienced and trained to improve clients movements and exercise and how to modify sequences of moments. Purpose: Flexibility of total body, strengthening of arms, legs, glutes, abs back = core strengthening, symmetrical posture and Relaxation.

    The six principles of Pilates:

    1. Concentration
    2. Control
    3. Centering
    4. Flow or efficiency of movement
    5. Precision and
    6. Breathing

    You must have a yoga or pilates mat for this class, you may bring your own, rent one for $2.00 or buy one for $20.00
     




      What is Small Group Personal Training?
     
    Small group instruction is an alternative to one-on-one training which offers the benefits of working with a personal trainer at a fraction of the cost of the private rate. Whether it be for fat loss, general conditioning, or elite level athletics, the added motivation of having others working out in the same room with you pushes you to a new effort level. Train with friends, family, or coworkers! Start your own group or join an established group. Small group personal training sessions are 1 hour in length. Custom designed workouts are tailored specifically to each small group. You will receive accountability, motivation, support, experience and expert guidance to reach your fitness goals at an economical rate. You will also be weighed before each session to monitor your body fat, body water, bone mass, muscle mass, and daily calorie allowance.

    - 4 Classes for $100 (that's only $25 a session)

      What is Ballroom Dance?
     
    Ballroom Dance Instruction for Wedding Couples and Beyond. Learn the Foxtrot, Waltz, Salsa, Cha Cha, Swing, Tango, Quickstep, Rumba, Hustle, Bolero and more. Dancing with a partner is one of the most rewarding and fun things you can experience! It starts with a few foundation steps to give you confidence, then passion, enthusiasm and whole new social world has opened up. The "Wedding Dance" is a beginning of a lifetime of dancing together. We will develop a custom dance for your wedding day, with the song of your choice (from Country to Van Halen, Johnny Cash to Opera) . You will learn the basics of Lead/Follow, Timing, Styling and most of all, looking relaxed. Wedding Couples get 1/2 hour FREE introductory lesson and 4 hours of private lessons for $300. Confidently step on the floor dancing to your song with a routine that suits your taste and personality.
     




      What should I wear?
     
    Zumba Fitness recommends that you wear "cross training" or "aerobic" style shoes. They provide the cushion and medial lateral support needed for side-to-side movements. They also have low traction rubber for easy sliding and turning. Please be careful with "running shoes" since they use a heavy tread on the bottom and are designed for forward movement. The traction of running shoes will restrict the motion of the foot during pivots and rotations which means these movements are forced into the knees. If you take Zumba several times a week, it may be worth the investment of buying jazz shoes as this will reduce the risk of injury to the knees and hips. As far as clothing, dress in comfortable fitness clothes such as sweats, yoga pants, shorts, tank tops, anything comfortable and easy to move in will do.
     




      What should I bring?
     
    You are going to get hot and sweaty, it is important that you drink plenty of water, and have a towel. You can bring your own water or purchase a water bottle for $1.00. Vibez Studio is not responsible for your belongings, you may bring a lock and put your stuff away safely in our lockers. You must take the lock with you when you leave. For the Pilates class you will need a yoga or pilates mat, you may bring your own, rent one for $2.00 or buy one for $20.00. For the Toning class you can bring in your own weights, rent for $2.00 or buy for $20.00
     




      Where should I park?
     
    FREE Parking. You many now park in any spot in the Bayside Plaza shopping center (except the wine shop) for up to 2 hours. (Disregard signs)
     




      How long are the classes?
     
    Classes are one long or more.
     




      Can men attend the classes?
     
    Of Course! Men are welcome to all classes. Especially Zumba classes. Zumba is for Men Too! Men come get a great cardio workout while picking up new dance moves. If you're a man who likes music and likes to move, you'll LOVE Zumba. We have many regulars that are men.
